Some education loving persons of the area felt it urgent to establish a teachers - training Institution to produce well trained teachers to perfectly play the role of nation builders - the back - bone of Nation. They walked forward to that end and with earnest Endeavour they made adequate infrastructure to realize their dream of setting up a B. Ed. college. N.O.C. from the education department of W. B. Govt. and affiliation from the University of Burdwan (W.B.) were made available for running the self financed B. Ed. College from the academic session 2009-10.
